Children's Lessons

Whatever stage of swimming your child has achieved when they come for a lesson, the first thing we work on is their comfort in the water. We teach good balance in the water so they feel supported by it before we start learning specific stroking skills.

We don't use any floats, kick boards, training fins, hand paddles, etc. Instead, we teach our swimmers to be balanced, stable, streamlined and to use their core power with integrated body movements to swim efficiently.

Learning to swim involves using the mind as much as the body. Learning new movement patterns in swimming with very focused repeats helps children develop effective learning skills that can be applied to other skills in life.

Having fun is also an integral part of the learning process!
